T-Craft manufactures boats designed and constructed for purpose.

Our boats carry the LMG Quality Seal and adhere to our Safety Standards.

Our boats are standard AG, KF or KFX platforms that have been designed and certified to accommodate specific layouts. Our boats have been fitted to various clients use requirements and are now also available through our distribution network.

The fact that these boats are now regarded as "standard" has allowed for substantial cost savings in design fees and other costs related to acquiring a purpose built boat that is fit for your application.

Lou Coetzer, an accredited Nikon photographer with over 20 years’ experience in photographing African Wildlife required a vessel which would enable his company to deliver on its stated objective of “taking enthusiastic photographers to photogenic places in Africa, where they can achieve the greatest photographs in the shortest possible time span”.

With the specific requirement being a stable platform with enough deck space to position seating, freedom of movement and sufficient stowage space for camera gear, we knew that the Ally-Gator 900 Maxi with its LOA of 9.0 metres and beam of 2.5. metres was just the vessel to satisfy his needs.

Having settled on the existing hull design, our Team set about designing the above deck layout to provide optimal stowage spaces and specifically designed and engineered seats with integrated camera mounts and importantly, a 360-degree uninterrupted view.

The advantage of photographing wildlife from a boat and not a vehicle is that you can get right down to the animal’s level ensuring the best images and a very different perspective. The vessel’s shallow draft affords great manoeuvrability resulting in the best lighting for your once in a lifetime shots.

After receiving his vessel and taking clients on Safari on the Chobe River, Lou was asked why this vessel? His response was: “simply because I believe we can achieve best results in the shortest possible time”.
